Health Center Services

What health care services and providers are available through the firm’s new partnership with Mount Sinai?

The firm’s onsite Health Center provides services including primary care, urgent care, and physical therapy, and is staffed by a team of Mount Sinai providers.

As an additional benefit, Debevoise has sponsored membership for New York partners and employees to The Health Center at Hudson Yards—Mount Sinai Health System’s flagship concierge medical practice—located at 390 11th Avenue. The Health Center at Hudson Yards offers primary and urgent care, physical therapy, behavioral health, cardiology, gynecology, X-rays, nutrition counseling, dermatology, and onsite lab work.

To further add value and streamline your care experience, New York partners and employees, along with their families, also have access to a team of Personal Health Navigators who are available to answer billing and insurance questions, schedule appointments, and manage referrals.

What is The Health Center at Hudson Yards?

Located at 390 11th Avenue, on the south-east corner of 34th Street and 11th Avenue, The Health Center at Hudson Yards is a technology-enabled, “smart” medical suite designed with privacy and ease in mind, and is just steps from the new Debevoise office. Membership is sponsored by Debevoise.

What is a Personal Health Navigator?

Personal Health Navigators are Mount Sinai professionals who can assist New York partners and employees, along with their families, with accessing and understanding health care services. Navigators can schedule appointments at the onsite Health Center, The Health Center at Hudson Yards, and elsewhere in the community, coordinate after-visit care, and answer health insurance plan questions. The Personal Health Navigator service is available via chat through the member portal, by calling 646.362.6886, or by emailing debevoisehcsupport@mountsinai.org.

What is your relationship to the Mount Sinai Health System?

Mount Sinai, one of the nation’s largest and most respected hospitals, is the firm’s health partner and operator of the onsite Health Center. The Health Center providers and Personal Health Navigators can seamlessly coordinate and schedule directly with other Mount Sinai physicians and practices. Your medical records will integrate with other Mount Sinai providers.

Are virtual care visits available?

Yes, in addition to onsite visits, virtual care appointments can be scheduled via chat through the Health Center powered by Mount Sinai member portal or via phone.

Do the health centers offer flu shots?

Yes, flu shots are available seasonally at the onsite Health Center and at The Health Center at Hudson Yards.

Do the health centers offer COVID-19 testing and immunizations?

Yes, COVID-19 antibody and diagnostic testing are available at both the onsite Health Center and The Health Center at Hudson Yards. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have previously experienced symptoms, or are curious about antibody testing in general, we can set up a virtual visit to discuss your options and what testing, if any, makes sense for you. COVID-19 vaccines will be available at both the onsite Health Center and The Health Center at Hudson Yards by appointment only. If interested, please contact our Personal Health Navigators.

Do the health centers offer travel vaccines?

Yes. Travel vaccines are available at both the onsite Health Center and The Health Center at Hudson Yards.

Do the health centers offer prescription orders?

Yes, our care teams at the onsite Health Center and The Health Center at Hudson Yards can send prescription orders to the pharmacy of your choice. If prescription delivery to your home address is desired, you would arrange this directly with your pharmacy and/or third-party delivery service.

Account Registration

How do I register?

New users of the Health Center powered by Mount Sinai member portal must complete a one-time registration by clicking here. Once registered,  you can access the portal in two ways:

  1. By visiting mychart.mountsinai.org/healthcenter via your web browser.
  2. By downloading the MyChart app for iOS or Android and searching for ‘Health Center powered by Mount Sinai’ to add it as a new organization.

Location and Access

Am I responsible for an annual health center membership fee?

No, membership to The Health Center at Hudson Yards is paid for by the firm. Depending on your health insurance plan and visit type you may owe a fixed dollar amount, or copay, on the day of your visit to The Health Center at Hudson Yards.

Visits to the firm’s onsite Health Center will be free (with $0 copay) whether or not you are on a Debevoise health plan, unless you are on a high-deductible heath plan (HDHP). Those on an HDHP, whether provided by United Healthcare or another carrier, should contact David Farrell for pricing details.

Can my spouse or dependent use the health centers?

No. Spouses and dependents will not have access to medical services available at the onsite Health Center or The Health Center at Hudson Yards. However, during regular business hours, Personal Health Navigators are available to both eligible personnel and their dependents to answer questions about health or accessing the health care system. They can assist with identifying the appropriate type of provider, identifying providers who participate in the Debevoise health plans and that meet their preferences, answering related employee benefits questions, and scheduling appointments with Health Professionals or other chosen provider(s).

Will Debevoise have access to my medical records?

No. Debevoise will not have access to your medical records. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), protects and guarantees the privacy of your medical records and personal health information (PHI). While your medical care is made conveniently available onsite at the Health Center all medical information will remain private and can only be securely accessed through the Mount Sinai portal system by the patient and individuals authorized by the patient.

Can I access my medical records online?

Yes. All personal information acquired will be retained in Epic, Mount Sinai’s electronic medical record, and is accessible through the Health Center powered by Mount Sinai member portal in MyChart.

Are walk-in appointments available?

Yes, urgent walk-in appointments will be available at the onsite Health Center. Walk-ins are not available at The Health Center at Hudson Yards; however, you may schedule same- or next-day appointments. Preventive and wellness visits, like annual exams, should be scheduled in advance.

 

What if I have an emergency?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency inside 66 Hudson Boulevard, please call x1919 or 212-909-1919 (Do not call 911) and refer to the building’s emergency procedures. If you are experiencing a medical emergency in any other setting or location, dial 911 immediately.

What happens if I need care after hours?

If you need care after the regular hours of Monday-Friday 9 am–5 pm, The Health Center at Hudson Yards is open Monday–Friday, 8 am–8 pm, and Saturday–Sunday, 9 am–1 pm. After business hours, an answering service will help triage clinical questions via phone.

Billing and Insurance

Do you accept my insurance?

The onsite Health Center is accessible to all New York partners and employees at no cost / $0 copay for most plans. Personnel with high-deductible health plans (whether provided by United Healthcare or another carrier) should contact David Farrell (dfarrell@debevoise.com) for pricing details.

The Health Center at Hudson Yards bills on an in-network basis for those on a Debevoise health plan. For more information please reach out directly to a Personal Health Navigator.

Are there copays?

All wellness and preventive visits are free of charge at both the onsite Health Center and The Health Center at Hudson Yards. All other visit types at the onsite Health Center are $0 for most plans. Personnel with high-deductible health plans (whether provided by UHC or another carrier) should contact David Farrell (dfarrell@debevoise.com) for pricing details.

If you have a copay from services provided at The Health Center at Hudson Yards, you may pay your bill online through the Health Center powered by Mount Sinai member portal. You may also pay via phone or mail using the instructions on the bill.
